Role Overview:

As a Data Scientist at our company, you will play a pivotal role in driving our AI initiatives forward. You will work on developing and deploying machine learning models, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables under tight SLAs. Your ability to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively will be key to your success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Develop and train machine learning models using advanced algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Data Pipeline Collaboration: Work with data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines for efficient data flow and preprocessing.
  • Accuracy & Reliability: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of developed models, adhering to best practices in machine learning.
  • Agile Environment: Participate actively in Agile sprints, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address challenges in data quality, model performance, and deployment processes.
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintain detailed documentation of models, datasets, and processes. Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, new tools, and advancements in AI/ML to continuously improve our solutions.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.
  • Experience with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation tools like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to align with global team collaboration and meeting schedules.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or research publications in AI/ML.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.
