We are a CMA-licensed asset management company building the next generation of investment management infrastructure. We're not just launching investment funds—we're building a modern, AI-native operating platform for asset managers. Our vision is to automate and simplify the entire investment operations lifecycle, including fund administration, NAV calculation, investor onboarding, compliance, reporting, and back-office operations. As our first engineering hire, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape both the technology and the product from the ground up.

The Role

We're looking for a highly capable Founding Engineer who enjoys solving complex business problems and building production-quality software. You'll work directly with the founders to transform AI-generated prototypes into secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This is a hands-on role. You'll own architecture, development, cloud deployment, security, and the overall technical direction of the platform.

What You'll Build

• Fund NAV engine

• Fund accounting platform

• Investor onboarding and KYC workflows

• Compliance and regulatory reporting

• Workflow automation

• Internal operations platform

• AI-powered operational tools

• Integrations with custodians, banks, accounting systems, and third-party providers

Responsibilities

• Design scalable software architecture

• Build secure backend services and APIs

• Develop modern web applications

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS)

• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging

• Build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

• Monitor production systems and improve reliability

• Integrate AI coding tools into the development workflow

• Collaborate closely with founders to rapidly iterate on new products

• Help establish engineering standards and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong full-stack software engineering experience

• Excellent backend development skills

• PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database experience

• Experience deploying applications on Azure or AWS

• REST API design and third-party integrations

• Authentication and role-based access control

• Git and modern software development practices

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments

• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar
