Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology projects within our Securities Services division. This role is central to managing high-impact projects for in-house developed applications and requires a professional capable of owning end-to-end project execution.

Department & Function Overview

Within the Markets & Securities Services sector, our function provides critical infrastructure for international capital flows, supporting large asset managers, banks, and broker-dealers.

A core component of this service is Transfer Agency (TA), which serves as the primary interface between investment funds and investors. The operation is vast, involving:

  • Managing shareholder accounts, KYC completion, and dividend payments.
  • Administering over 1,200bn in assets across 11,000+ funds.
  • Overseeing a workforce of 450+ staff serving 1.5 million investors.
  • Processing more than 290,000 transactions per month.

The Opportunity

This position is responsible for driving technology project delivery across multiple systems, including proprietary, fully in-house developed applications. The successful candidate will own planning, governance, and stakeholder management, ensuring all outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal impact to Business As Usual (BAU) operations.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Delivery

  • Define project scope and establish clear milestones.
  • Drive delivery across the full lifecycle, from initiation to go-live and hypercare.
  • Maintain rigorous RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with ITID, engineering teams, infrastructure, and external vendors.
  • Align resource allocation and delivery timelines across operations and technical departments.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide transparent status reporting and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate timely decision-making and secure necessary approvals to maintain project momentum.

Change & Release Management

  • Oversee environment readiness and controlled releases.
  • Develop robust implementation plans, including rollback strategies, to safeguard production stability.

Quality & Operational Readiness

  • Lead testing phases, cutover planning, and technical documentation.
  • Establish support model readiness to ensure seamless production adoption.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation.
  • Drive process optimization to enhance delivery efficiency and service resilience.
