Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pega Lead Business Analyst for an offshore role. The ideal candidate will be a key driver in shaping and delivering complex Pega-based solutions, bridging the gap between strategic business needs and technical implementation within the banking domain. We require immediate joiners for this position.
Key Requirements:
- Immediate Joiner: Ability to join immediately is mandatory.
- Domain Expertise: Mandatory strong and proven experience in the Banking domain. Experience in the Capital Markets / Trading domain is a significant plus.
- Certification: Must be a Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA).
Responsibilities:
- Lead the business/product team in gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements, leveraging Pega's Directly Captured Objectives (DCO) capabilities.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into comprehensive functional specifications and technical design artifacts for Pega implementations.
- Design and model end-to-end business processes, case types, and workflows within the Pega platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Pega best practices.
- Work closely with Pega System Architects to ensure technical designs align with business requirements and leverage the Pega platform effectively.
- Document detailed business rules and assist with defining the case type structure based on business needs.
- Apply strong analysis and design skills to break down complex requirements and translate them into actionable Pega configurations.
- Develop and create test plans and test cases, and actively assist with testing activities to ensure quality assurance and validation of requirements.
- Create clear, concise, and detailed technical documentation.
- Proactively identify and address complex functional and technical challenges through adept problem-solving.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication with both business and technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Utilize design thinking and co-design methodologies to drive innovative solutions.
- Operate effectively in agile and hybrid working environments, potentially performing Scrum Master duties if required.
- Apply strategic-level thinking to plan and deliver large, complex initiatives.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and provide support to other team members.
- Employ strong negotiation skills to influence quality outcomes across the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, standards, frameworks, and best practices in Pega and the banking domain, actively researching, innovating, and participating in relevant communities.
- Proficient in the Pega government framework (if applicable to the specific banking context).
- Possess a strong technical acumen with deep experience in software development concepts, databases, APIs, and system architecture.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of overall business analysis experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience specifically as a Pega Lead Business Analyst or similar role, with strong DCO capabilities.
- Mandatory: Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification.
- Mandatory: Extensive and proven experience within the Banking domain.
- Experience in the Capital Markets / Trading domain is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of Pega methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation (functional specifications, user stories, process flows, test cases, etc.).
- Solid experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven ability to lead requirements gathering workshops and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong technical understanding of software development concepts, databases, APIs, and system architecture in the context of Pega applications.
