Pega Lead Business Architect

We are seeking a skilled Pega Certified Business Architect to lead and drive business and technical solutions using Pega methodologies and government frameworks. The role requires deep expertise in business analysis, system architecture, and agile delivery to support large-scale, complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis
    • Lead teams in gathering and analyzing business requirements using Pega’s DCO capabilities.
    • Document business rules and case-type structures aligned with business needs.
    • Translate complex requirements into technical design artifacts.
  2. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure alignment on solutions.
    • Negotiate and influence quality outcomes across the software development lifecycle.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  3. Technical Expertise
    • Leverage Pega methodologies and frameworks to deliver tailored solutions.
    • Apply technical acumen to integrate databases, APIs, and system architecture seamlessly.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to innovate and optimize processes.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Develop test plans and cases to ensure business requirements are met.
    • Participate in and support testing efforts to validate quality and functionality.
  5. Agile and Strategic Leadership
    • Operate within an agile environment, with the ability to perform Scrum Master duties when required.
    • Deliver strategic initiatives by applying design thinking and co-design methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification: Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA).
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years in Business Analysis, with 4+ years as a Lead Business Analyst in Pega projects.
    • Proven experience with Pega’s government frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience in design thinking and co-design methodologies.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of software development concepts, databases, APIs, and system architecture.
    • Familiarity with Pega methodologies and frameworks.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
    • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and leading teams effectively.
  • Delivery Methodology:
    • Proficient in Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution for complex initiatives.
