Pega Senior Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pega Developer to design, implement, and optimize scalable Pega-based solutions for complex business challenges. This full-time, remote role requires at least 5 years of Pega PRPC development experience, advanced certifications (CSSA mandatory; LSA preferred), and expertise in workflows, case management, API integration, and domain-specific frameworks like government or financial services. Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design and Development
2. • Lead the design and implementation of complex Pega applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business objectives.
   • Develop case types, workflows, decision rules, and UI components following Pega best practices.
   • Utilize Pega frameworks, including domain-specific frameworks like government or financial services, to deliver tailored solutions.
3. Integration and API Management
4. • Implement and manage seamless integrations using REST, SOAP, and other connectors.
   • Design and debug data flows for efficient data handling and ensure the secure exchange of information across systems.
5. Technical Leadership
6. • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members, ensuring adherence to Pega methodologies and best practices.
   • Act as the technical SME for Pega-related architecture decisions and roadmap planning.
7. Quality Assurance and Performance Tuning
8. • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
   • Optimize Pega applications for performance using tools like PAL, DB Tracer, and log analysis.
9. Stakeholder Collaboration
10. • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into effective Pega solutions.
    • Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.
11. Continuous Improvement
12. • Stay updated on the latest Pega features, frameworks, and industry trends.
    • Innovate and enhance existing applications to improve functionality, user experience, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certifications:
• • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is mandatory.
  • Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification is a strong plus.
• Experience:
• • 5+ years of Pega PRPC development experience, including end-to-end implementation of large-scale applications.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Pega frameworks (e.g., government, healthcare, financial services).
• Technical Expertise:
• • Strong proficiency in workflows, case management, decision rules, declarative rules, and SLA configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with API integration (REST/SOAP), debugging tools (Tracer, Clipboard, logs), and database management (SQL/Oracle).
  • Familiarity with DCO (Direct Capture of Objectives) and agile methodologies.
