Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia
About Us:
We are a pioneering investment management firm dedicated to shaping investments and turning long-term financial ambitions into reality. Bridging the gap between the complexities of the Saudi investment markets and our clients' financial goals, we leverage our deep market understanding to curate personalised investment strategies across various asset classes, including liquid assets, private equity, and real estate investments. We pride ourselves on building partnerships rooted in mutual trust, guiding our clients through every step of their investment journey, from goal discovery and risk assessment to portfolio construction, ongoing monitoring, and regular adjustments.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects within our organisation, ensuring alignment with our strategic business objectives and the successful delivery of initiatives on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum and traditional), risk management, stakeholder engagement, and a strong understanding of technology relevant to the financial services sector. This role demands excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The position is based onsite in Saudi Arabia, and candidates must be locally available with a transferrable IQAMA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project plans, clearly defining scope, milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project success.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle – from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure – ensuring strict adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Team Leadership and Coordination
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and the achievement of project goals.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, performance reviews, and post-implementation analyses to ensure transparency and clear alignment among stakeholders.
- Mentor team members on best practices in project management and effective execution.
- Technical Oversight and Integration
- Utilise a strong understanding of technology relevant to the financial investment sector to guide project strategies and ensure robust and efficient solutions. This may include cloud technologies and application design.
- Coordinate effectively with technical teams to ensure that solution designs meet project requirements, including aspects such as data security, system integration, and potentially performance optimisation and disaster recovery.
- Stakeholder and Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and potentially external partners, communicating project progress, identifying risks, and managing necessary changes in a clear and timely manner.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage expectations, negotiate priorities effectively, and resolve any conflicts to maintain strong, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders. We pride ourselves on going beyond traditional transactional dynamics, building a partnership rooted in mutual trust.
- Risk, Quality, and Change Management
- Proactively identify potential project risks using appropriate risk management tools and methodologies; develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimise impact.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and internal requirements.
- Implement and manage robust change control processes to accommodate evolving project requirements without negatively impacting project timelines or budgets.
- Budgeting, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
- Develop and diligently manage project budgets, meticulously tracking expenditures and forecasting resource needs to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed project reports, dashboards, and thorough post-project evaluations to provide clear insights into project performance.
- Analyse project performance data to identify key lessons learned and actively incorporate these learnings to drive continuous process improvements and enhance operational efficiencies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects, ideally within the financial services or investment management sectors.
- Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments, with proven expertise in both Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies.
- A strong technical background relevant to the financial industry, including but not limited to data management, system integrations, and security considerations. Experience with cloud computing and application design is highly desirable.
- A proven ability to manage budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality project delivery.
