ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Distinguished HSE Expert to lead our safety training division. This role is dedicated to developing and delivering world-class safety education that meets rigorous international regulatory standards. The successful candidate will prepare professionals to manage workplace risks across high-stakes industries, ensuring they are equipped with the technical proficiency and certifications required for global practice.
Expertise in at least one of the specialized certification clusters listed below is required. You will be tasked with ensuring our students achieve the highest levels of competence and professional certification.
TECHNICAL SPECIALIZATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
The trainer must demonstrate mastery and provide instructional excellence for certifications within the following clusters as defined in our official curriculum:
1. NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
- International General Certificate (IGC): Delivering the premier level 3 qualification for managers and supervisors, focusing on ILO standards and international best practices.
- International Diploma for OSH Management Professionals: Leading our flagship level 6 qualification, equivalent to a bachelor's degree, for senior professionals.
- Specialist Certificates: Providing focused instruction for high-risk industries including:
2. IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)
- IOSH Managing Safely: Providing market-leading instruction for line managers in any sector to manage team safety.
- IOSH Working Safely: Delivering an essential entry-level course on basic safety principles.
3. Global Standards & Auditing Qualifications
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor: Training professionals to audit Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification: Providing comprehensive safety training recognized globally, particularly for projects managed by multinational firms.
- NASP/IASP Certifications: Facilitating advanced credentials including Certified Safety Manager (CSM) and Master Safety Professional (MSP).
- NVQ Level 6 Diploma: Mentoring practitioners through this work-based, degree-level credential using workplace evidence.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Curriculum Development: Design and refine instructional materials aligned with international standards such as those from the International Labour Organization (ILO).
- Instructional Excellence: Lead high-impact training sessions across diverse sectors, covering Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management.
- Exam Preparation: Conduct intensive workshops to ensure students are prepared for rigorous standards from NEBOSH and IOSH.
- Professional Mentorship: Guide practitioners through work-based qualifications like the NVQ Level 6 Diploma.
- Safety Leadership: Mentor students on implementing practical tools to manage safety effectively within their teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS
- Professional Credentials: Must hold a senior-level qualification such as the NEBOSH International Diploma, NVQ Level 6, or Master Safety Professional (MSP).
- Educational Background: A degree-level understanding of Occupational Health and Safety is essential.
- Instructional Mastery: Proven ability to facilitate technically accurate workshops for diverse learners, from entry-level to senior management.
- Global Perspective: Familiarity with international safety standards and the requirements of multinational firms.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex safety systems in Bold, Actionable, and Simple terms.
